I am Simon Taylor

My relationship with photography is more casual than a deeply committed romance, but that doesn’t mean it is any less passionate. Sometimes we come together and can’t be separated. At other times we see other people.

Whilst I had photographic training at secondary school, my interest was piqued by my father when I was much younger.

I have an eclectic mix of interests when it comes to subject matter as you can see from my varied collections.

My “Different Perspectives” collection is my longest running affair and is born from interest in looking at things in a different way. Especially architecture and everyday objects.

In “Wild Glamour” and “Flower Power” I like to clear the picture of distractions and focus entirely on the natural beauty of my subject – be that creatures or plants.

Probably my most intriguing collection is my “Statues – Secret Lives” collection in which I wonder about what the statues must have seen in their long lives and what they may do in their secret lives.
“Street Life” is the capture of people going about their everyday lives and is an extension of my love of people watching.

From seas and oceans to rivers and streams; and from waterfalls and fountains to lakes and pools I am fascinated in water and its ever-changing forms.. literally fluid. My “Water Ways” collection is a study in form, velocity, colour, texture, energy, and mood.

All images can be purchased digitally or printed on a variety of mediums including posters, fine art, stretched canvas, mugs and much more.

I hope you enjoy my collections and stock photographs.
